“I’ve been everywhere, man
I’ve been everywhere, man

I know some place you haven’t been
I’ve been everywhere”

I also had two LiveJournals, under the usernames “Girl Gone Wired” and “Kraft Dinner Mom” (formerly known as “amethyst_ca”). That I was able to recover the old logos posted above is thanks to the Internet Archive: Wayback Machine. Unfortunately, none of the old text survives, and the original files were lost many, many hard-drive crashes ago.
Beginning in 1998 and lasting up until the acquisition and closure of Geocities by Yahoo!, I was a Community Leader in the “Wellesley” and “Heartland” neighborhoods. My Wellesley web site, “Virtually Victoria,” kept company with the likes of Zelda Anslinger and Katie Allison Granju in the Feminist Moms WebRing (copy/paste the links into the search engine at the Wayback Machine, if you are so inclined).
I have also published fiction and poetry since 1990 in a variety of places, including Literary Mama.
It seems like all that was a lifetime ago. There is so much more to write about and to discover.
Thank you for joining me on this stage of my journey as a writer and a mother/grandmother.
